    ARTISTIC APPROACH

Creating animals and creatures is my biggest passion. I’m always on the lookout to learn something new, be it anatomy, new techniques, or some weird bit of animal trivia.

Before I start sculpting I like to spend a good hour or two just researching and becoming familiar with the animal. I’m a big anatomy lover, but I also think it is important to capture the characteristics and personality of an animal.

I’m interested in all types of creatures, both real and fictional, but I might have a slight bias towards equines.

    WORK

    ORIGIN STORY

What I loved the most growing up were animals, art and video games. When I realized I could combine all three and be a creature artist I knew I had found my calling.

There is something immensely satisfying about bringing a creature to life from a blank piece of paper or a simple sphere.

I feel incredibly grateful to be able to do what I love and continue developing my abilities as an artist and my knowledge of all things creatures.

    ARTISTIC APPROACH

When I’m creating a digital sculpture of a horse, I start by doing a lot of research and collecting reference images to make sure I get everything right. I want to make sure my sculpture looks like a real horse, so I spend a lot of time studying their anatomy and movements.

As I’m working, I try to put some of my own feelings and ideas into the sculpture. I want it to be more than just an accurate depiction of a horse; I want it to capture the spirit and personality of the animal.

I really love creating horse sculptures. It’s a lot of work, but it’s also a lot of fun, and I hope that when people see my sculptures, they’ll feel the same sense of joy and wonder that I do when I’m working on them.

    ORIGIN STORY

My love for horses began at a very young age and has been a constant source of inspiration throughout my life. After graduating from the Art Academy, where I honed my artistic skills, I worked as a portrait painter for some time. However, my passion for horses never waned, and two years ago, I decided to explore 3D graphics. My first digital sculpture of a horse was an instant hit, and I soon started receiving orders for my unique and beautiful equine creations.

When O.G. Equine commissioned me to create a sculpture for them, I was thrilled. Working with them was an incredible experience, and I enjoyed every step of the process. Their guidance and feedback were invaluable, and it helped me create my best work yet. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such passionate and knowledgeable people, and I am excited to continue creating beautiful sculptures that capture the essence of these magnificent creatures.

    ARTISTIC APPROACH

For the most part how I make model horse art isn’t that different from how other artists work. An endless rabbit hole of moodboards and revisions gradually turns an idea into a concept and eventually a blueprint. Then I make it.

One thing I might do differently is that I take knowledge and experience I gained from working in different fields of art (photography, videography, production design and graphic art), and put it into model horses.

    ORIGIN STORY

The date is October 22nd 2020. The world has been devastated by an experimental weaponized virus, killing millions and turning some into mindless beasts. I somehow managed to survive, but was not left unscathed. While those in power only continued to fatten their wallets, most of us, including myself were left devoid of resources. Desperate and hungry in the winter’s freezing embrace, I was drawn to a figure obscured by a warm and blinding light. Little by little I moved towards it, and little by little the figure revealed itself to me. My eyes widened and my body petrified as I was struck by the sheer awe of it’s being. It exclaimed: Come forth child and grasp your future, for it is I, HORSE. The date is 22-10-2020. I came into this world decades prior, but this was the date of my birth.
